Dear Colleagues! I am glad to pass the great news I received from Minigrad: they have started making models of Ural trucks similar in quality to the ones previously made by Dmitriev Workshop. Many of you knew Dmitriev Workshop and its models pretty well. To those of you who didn>t, it was the official modeling workshop for the UralAZ truck factory in Miass. It>s models were used as official souvenirs by the factory. Unfortunately last year the management has decided that the factory does not need that kind of workshop anymore, and it ceased to exist... Minigrad, in it>s turn, have been making excellent models - both original and modifications on chassis by Elecon - for quite some time. They have just released two models that almost exactly replicate old models by Dmitriev: The first orange personnel carrier is only $60. The price for the second model is still undetermined. Please let me know if you are interested in these and future models in these Ural series, I am pretty sure there will be plenty of them. Regards, Webmaster
